Welcome to Mims Farm. We are located on City Road along the northern side of Clayton, North Carolina. We are a small family farm that raises beef cattle, honey bees, timber and offers horse boarding.
The farm property is owned by Allen Mims and most of the day to day operations are managed by his son, Allie Mims. The current beef cattle and honey bee operations are in start up mode. We hope to begin selling our own grass fed, dry aged beef starting in the summer of 2018. We currently harvest a small amount of honey for retail sale. Our 2016 honey harvest will be available for purchase in August 2016.
The horse boarding facility features two barns with 11 total stalls, tack room and a wash pit with hot and cold water service. The farm also has an indoor arena, outdoor arena, round pin, many small turnout lots and a few miles of wooded trails for pleasure riding.
